How it works
From discovery to a clear conversation
Storegidi brings local business catalogs into one searchable marketplace. Customers use the public pages to discover and compare offers. Sellers use a private workspace to keep storefront details current. The platform connects both sides without pretending that every local transaction works the same way.
1. Find a useful shortlist
Search by product, service or keyword, then use category and location filters to narrow the results. Open a listing to see its price, description, condition, availability, images and seller. You can also open the complete storefront to understand the business and compare related offers.
If you have a buyer account, save promising products or services instead of relying on browser history. A shortlist makes it easier to compare the same details across sellers and return after you have considered the options.
2. Check the details that matter
A listing is the beginning of verification, not the end. Confirm the exact model, size, service scope, current availability, delivery area and total cost. For used or thrifted items, ask about wear, repairs and defects. For services, agree on the deliverable, timing, materials and what the starting price includes.
Our comparison guide provides a reusable method for looking beyond the headline price.
3. Contact the seller
Use Storegidi messages or a contact option published by the seller. Ask specific questions and keep important agreements in writing. The seller may propose collection, delivery, an appointment or another fulfilment method based on the offer.
Storegidi does not currently hold marketplace payments. Check the recipient and amount before authorising a transfer, do not share passwords or one-time codes, and follow the marketplace safety guidance.
4. Complete and review the experience
Inspect goods or confirm the agreed service outcome before treating the transaction as complete. Keep receipts and key conversation details until any delivery, return or follow-up period has ended. Where reviews are available, describe what you bought, how communication went and whether the final outcome matched the listing.
For sellers: create and maintain a storefront
- Create one account. A Storegidi account provides a buyer workspace and can be activated for selling.
- Add your business details. Publish the identity, location and contact information customers should use.
- Build the catalog. Add original images, accurate prices, categories, availability and descriptions for the products or services you actually offer.
- Share the storefront. Use the direct link or QR code from the seller dashboard in conversations, printed materials and social profiles.
- Keep it current. Update prices, hide unavailable listings and respond to customers with terms that match the public page.
